BETHANY ZANDER, PsyD
Deciding to enter a therapy room is commendable and brave. Bethany helps clients feel at ease with her gentle, inviting presence which supports honesty and vulnerability. Bethany considers it an honor and privilege to be invited alongside clients in their unique and sacred life journey.
Over the past eight years, Bethany has gained a wide variety of experiences working in schools, medical offices, hospitals, and community mental health settings in addition to providing telehealth counseling. Therapy may range from brief, solution-focused work to longer-term, insight-oriented interpersonal therapy depending on the reason for therapy and the needs of the client. Bethany incorporates a variety of interventions and theories including cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapies, mindfulness, and family systems.
Bethany greatly enjoys helping moms navigate the various stressors and joys that pregnancy and motherhood present. She also specializes in working with clients coping with a range of grief and loss issues and those struggling with anxiety and depression. In addition, Bethany has extensive training in helping clients cope with a range of general health issues including chronic pain and terminal illness.
