Meredith Cushing, LPC
Meredith brings warmth and grounded presence to her counseling practice, with a client-centered and attachment-focused orientation. She is honored to support her clients through places of transition and transformation in their lives. Meredith draws upon elements of interpersonal neurobiology, mindfulness, and psychodynamic theory, using a wide variety of therapeutic techniques in her work with adolescents and adults. Meredith’s practice has a particular focus on relational health, including issues arising in parenting, intimacy and partnership. She is bilingual English/Spanish, and creates affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients.
Meredith has worked with clients in a diversity of settings, developing a passion for supporting women and families. She has many years of combined experience in school-based mental health, mobile crisis response, and substance abuse treatment, and has pursued advanced training in trauma-informed care.
